Geelong Archers is an inclusive club

Geelong Archers strive to provide an inclusive environment where all people feel welcome, irrespective of their ethnicity, gender, age, abilities, opinions and preferences.

Whilst we acknowledge everyone’s right to their personal opinions, it is not appropriate nor legal for discriminatory comments to be voiced at the club.

The environment and behaviours of our club is based on the Archery Victoria and Geelong Archers Code of Conduct.
As current club members (meaning you accepted the Code of Conduct when joining) you have agreed it is not acceptable to make discriminatory comments based on difference including age, gender or ethnicity.
Consequently, comments relating to these topics that might be upsetting to any of our members, their families or friends have no place here and will not be tolerated.

The Executive Committee will take action to any breaches of the Code of Conduct.
Offenders will be asked to stop inappropriate behavior by the Field Marshall or Executive Committee member in charge (who have the final say in the matter), or if a complaint from a member is received.
Re-offenders will receive official warnings and could be suspended or expelled from the club.
We ask all members who observe behaviour or remarks that are divisive to speak up.
You have the power to affect change and create a welcoming environment for all.
The Executive Committee will be behind you.
